Hubby’s Little Motorcycle Trip

Wow. I’ve been missing in action for awhile now! I’ve been busy, but also training for my new job as Production Controller at work. I work Fridays now, and I just have been ‘spent’ mentally by all the info trying to attach itself inside my brain. So much to learn in a short time, but I am going to LOVE my new job once I get into ‘comfortable mode’. I love the new hours (8 hours instead of 10, but 5 days instead of 4). The days just FLY by!

ANYWAY, earlier last month, my hubby went on a 3 and a half day trip on his Goldwing by himself and had a great time. That was almost a month ago! He rode all day on the first day, and made it to West Virginia. On his trip, he also traveled through Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky Here are some pictures he took.

He rode his ‘wing’ down Hwy 16, which is also called Back of the Dragon. He loved it! Of course, he needed a new Tshirt!

He left Thursday morning July 10th, and we met at noon on Sunday July 13th in Bettendorf for lunch at Pizza Ranch. We spent some time junkin’ after lunch, then we came home. It was SOOOO good to see him, and I thanked God for keeping him safe and for bringing him home safe and sound!

  1. Great landscape photos. I can't imagine riding on a motorcycle by myself anywhere, let alone that trip! Hope you get to take a break also.
